The consignor has meticulously maintained XKD 551, ensuring its originality. The car retains its original body, chassis, engine, and gearbox, with a mileage of 19,570 believed to be accurate. Interestingly, the consignor had the original 3.4-liter engine removed for safekeeping and replaced it with a 3.8-liter unit. The 3.4-liter engine was later rebuilt and stored, only to be reinstalled before the auction, along with the spare 3.8-liter engine.
