Big news in the entertainment world! Kevin Rowe, a prominent manager and producer, is making a move to Entertainment 360 after departing from 2AM, the management and production company he co-founded. This shift marks a significant change in the landscape of talent representation.
"We are thrilled to welcome Kevin to Entertainment 360. His eye for talent and keen instincts for what’s next have made him a leader throughout his career and we deeply value the entrepreneurialism and high integrity with which he has built his business," stated the Entertainment 360 Partners, highlighting their enthusiasm for Rowe's arrival.
Rowe's move brings along an impressive roster of clients, including names like Janicza Bravo, Jeremy O. Harris, Elegance Bratton, and actress Eliza Scanlen. Before 2AM, Rowe established his own management and production company, Elia, where he played a key role in bringing Ari Aster's A24 debut features, Hereditary and Midsommar, to life. He also honed his skills at Artists First, Odenkirk Provisiero, and as an agent at Gersh.
As a producer, Rowe has several notable credits, including the Eliza Scanlen-led The Starling Girl and Love Me, starring Kristen Stewart. He also holds executive producer credits on A24's horror film The Front Room and Magnolia's Omni Loop.
But here's where it gets controversial... 2AM, co-founded by Rowe alongside Christine D’Souza Gelb and David Hinojosa, was backed by A24 and quickly became known for championing emerging auteur filmmakers. They produced projects like the A24 favorites Past Lives, Babygirl, and The Materialists. However, the company is now winding down without financial backing from the studio. This raises questions about the sustainability of such ventures in the competitive world of entertainment.
